Thorough Examinations & Health & Safety

Current legislation states all lifting equipment and accessories must be thoroughly examined under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).

The Thorough Examination coves all lifting and driving components of the truck.

Lifting Equipment and lifting accessories, cage attachments and forklifts used to lift people safely must be thoroughly examined at least twice a year, and a forklift truck used to lift goods only at least once a year, although this may vary in certain circumstances.

All our engineers receive training with The Fork Lift Truck Association and are certified to carry out the Thorough Examination of lifting equipment on our customer sites. We are registered members of both the Fork Lift Truck Association and the Consolidated Fork Truck Services.
